  • Daktronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: DAKT) rose 15.4 percent to $8.00 in pre-market trading following Q1 results. Daktronics reported quarterly earnings of $0.13 per share on revenue of $157.1 million.
  • Amedica Corporation (NASDAQ: AMDA) rose 10.2 percent to $1.19 in the pre-market trading session as the company reported that its Intervertebral Fusion Device has received 510(k) premarket 'substantially equivalent' notification on Monday.
  • Shoe Carnival, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCVL) shares rose 5.7 percent to $29.09 in pre-market trading. Shoe Carnival will replace Sagent Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: SGNT) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on August 26.
  • Eagle Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: EGRX) rose 5.1 percent to $62.99 in pre-market trading. Eagle Pharmaceuticals will replace Cash America International Inc (NYSE: CSH) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on September 1.
  • NQ Mobile Inc (ADR) (NYSE: NQ) shares rose 5.1 percent to $4.74 in pre-market trading following Q2 results. NQ Mobile reported Q2 non-GAAP net income of $7.6 million or $0.08 per ADS, compared to $7.0 million in last year's comparable quarter. The company reported an 18 percent increase in sales to $83.7 million.
  • Tableau Software Inc (NYSE: DATA) shares rose 4.8 percent to $57.50 in pre-market trading after appointing Amazon.com, Inc.'s (NASDAQ: AMZN) former executive Adam Selipsky as its new CEO.
  • Chemical Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: CHFC) rose 4.3 percent to $47.40 in pre-market trading. Chemical Financial will replace SUPERVALU INC. (NYSE: SVU) in the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on August 31.
  • Monsanto Company (NYSE: MON) rose 4.1 percent to $108.75 in pre-market trading as Bloomberg reported progress in talks with Bayer.
  • CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CF) shares rose 3.2 percent to $24.45 in pre-market trading. UBS upgraded CF Industries from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $22.00 to $28.00.

  • Xtera Communications Inc (NASDAQ: XCOM) shares fell 48 percent to $0.364 in the pre-market trading session after the company reported that it has received a notice of termination of the Master Manufacturing Agreement with Foxconn.
  • Sophiris Bio Inc (NASDAQ: SPHS) shares fell 28 percent to $4.19 in pre-market trading on the announcement of an equity offering of stock and warrants.
  • Tokai Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: TKAI) shares fell 17.7 percent to $1.12 in pre-market trading as the company announced plans to discontinue enrollment for Armor2 expansion clinical trial.
  • Sinovac Biotech Ltd. (NASDAQ: SVA) shares fell 16.5 percent to $5.00 in pre-market trading following Q2 results. Sinovac posted a quarterly loss of $0.17 per share on revenue of $1.38 billion.
  • Zoe's Kitchen Inc (NYSE: ZOES) shares fell 13.2 percent to $32.35 in pre-market trading. Zoe's Kitchen reported in-line earnings for the second quarter, but revenue missed analysts’ estimates. The company also trimmed its 2016 revenue outlook.
  • SeaChange International (NYSE: SEAC) shares fell 9.6 percent to $3.00 in pre-market trading after the company issued a weak forecast for the second quarter.
  • Premier Inc (NASDAQ: PINC) shares fell 8.5 percent to $30.89 in pre-market trading after the company posted downbeat quarterly results.
  • Cosi Inc (NASDAQ: COSI) fell 6.8 percent to $0.290 in pre-market trading after the announcement that CEO and President Robert Dourney had been fired, while CFO Miguel Rossy-Donovan had resigned, to work for another company. Board member Patrick Bennett will serve as interim CEO until a permanent replacement is found.
  • J M Smucker Co (NYSE: SJM) shares fell 4.2 percent to $149.60 in pre-market trading. Smucker reported better-than-expected first-quarter earnings, but revenue fell short of estimates. The company maintained its adjusted EPS forecast for the full year.
  • Tuniu Corp (NASDAQ: TOUR) fell 4.1 percent to $9.12 in pre-market trading. Tuniu reported a Q2 loss of $0.90 per ADS on revenue of $355.45 million and announced a $150 million share repurchase program.
