Total Students in postsecondary enrollments decreased 8.8 percent year-over-year to 69, 872 compared with 76,584 previously.
  • Foot Locker, Inc. (NYSE: FL) shares jumped 10.7 percent to $68.29 after the company delivered higher-than-expected results for the second quarter.
  • Deere & Company (NYSE: DE) climbed 10.2 percent to $84.80 as the company reported better-than-expected EPS and revenue for the third quarter. The company also boosted revenue forecast for the full year.
  • Angie's List Inc (NASDAQ: ANGI) shares gained 9 percent to $9.80. Raymond James upgraded Angie's List from Market Perform to Outperform.
  • Restoration Hardware Holdings Inc (NYSE: RH) rose 8.6 percent to $33.41. Goldman Sachs upgraded Restoration Hardware to Buy, while adding the stock to the Americas Conviction Buy List. The price target has been raised from $37 to $40.
  • Mentor Graphics Corp (NASDAQ: MENT) shares gained 7.9 percent to $ 23.91 after the company announced better-than-expected results for its second quarter on Thursday.
  • Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAT) shares gained 6.7 percent to $29.54 as the company reported upbeat earnings for its fiscal third quarter and issued a strong earnings forecast for the current quarter.
  • Ross Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROST) gained 4.9 percent to $65.95 as the company reported better-than-expected quarterly earnings.
