Have You Ever Wanted To Play With The 1992 Dream Team?

The Dream Team vs. Team USA - who would win? This is an question basketball fans love to debate. While this is a question we never can see played out in real life, popular video game franchise NBA 2K allows for the best simulation of this legendary hypothetical matchup.

Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.'s TTWO NBA 2k recently released a trailer titled "The Dream Lives On" that features the 2016 U.S. Men's Basketball Team up against the legendary Dream Team of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.

The NBA 2k franchise has been a strong seller for Take-Two. The company credited the NBA 2k franchise for its strong revenue growth in Q1, saying in an SEC filing, "For the three months ended June 30, 2016, net revenue increased by $36.3 million as compared to the prior year. This increase was due primarily to an increase of $102.0 million in revenues from our NBA 2K franchise, due to the recognition of previously-deferred revenues from NBA 2K16."

NBA 2k17 will feature Kobe Bryant and Paul George on its cover, and is set to release on September 16.
