Charter Names John Bickham As President

disclosed that John Bickham has been appointed as its President and Chief Operating Officer. He served as COO since joining the company in 2012. Charter said that Bickhan has been a three-decade-old cable industry veteran serving in different cable operations leadership roles. Before joining the company, he was President of Cable and Communications at Cablevision. Bickham also served as EVP for Time Warner Cable managing the North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas operations. He oversaw Time Warner Cable's Los Angeles system previously. Bickham was a founding executive of KBLCOM in 1986 and owned cable systems in eight states. Charter Chairman and CEO, Tom Rutledge, said, "It is no accident that Charter has become the fastest growing cable company in the nation over the last several years under John's leadership. His operational expertise will continue to be invaluable to the company as we integrate three companies into one, and bring the many benefits of the Charter strategy and the Spectrum brand to millions of customers." The stock edged up by $0.12 or 0.05 percent at $237.84 on Thursday.
