Spirit Airlines Launches Its Ultra-Low Cost Service in Northeast Ohio

said that it would unveil its ultra-low cost service in Northeast Ohio by introducing Akron – Canton Airport. It would become the 57th city to join its expanding network. The company's VP of Network Planning, Mark Kopczak, commented, "Akron-Canton is the perfect place to expand our growing network. Spirit's super low Bare Fares™, with Frill Control™ allow customers to choose only those extras they want to pay for and gives them the most control over their travel budget. This new service compliments Spirit's existing service to Cleveland, and will help us provide even more ultra-low fare options from Northeast Ohio's two top airports." Sprint Airlines said that the travelers could take advantage of its low fares and visit some vacation destinations. The company has selected about five destinations. It would commence its service on November 10 with once daily trip. The company indicated that in April next year, it would also launch its service to Myrtle Beach. Its new flights to Florida and Myrtle Beach would be available for purchase from July 26. On Tuesday, the stock advanced 1.65 percent.
