The worst performing industries in the market today are:

  • Photographic Equipment & Supplies: This industry slipped 2.9 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was GoPro Inc GPRO, which fell 3.3 percent. GoPro is scheduled to report Q2 financial results on July 27, 2016.
  • Cement: This industry declined 1.6 percent by 11:00 am with Cemex SAB de CV (ADR) CX moving down 2.6 percent. Cemex shares have dropped 18.16 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 1.81 percent in the same period.
  • Cigarettes: This industry fell 1.5 percent by 11:00 am ET. Philip Morris International Inc. PM shares dropped 3.4 percent in today's trading. Philip Morris reported downbeat earnings for the second quarter.
  • Consumer Services: The industry dropped 1.2 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Student Transportation Inc STB, which declined 1.3 percent.
