  • Qihoo 360 Technology Co Ltd QIHU surged 4.27 percent to $76.67. The volume of Qihoo 360 shares traded was 992 percent higher than normal. Sources citing Bloomberg suggest a notice on Qihoo showing that the stock will be delisted from the NYSE on July 18th. However, NYSE sites do not reflect that notice.
  • Cypress Semiconductor Corporation CY shares moved up 4.55 percent to $11.39. The volume of Cypress Semiconductor traded was 413 percent higher than normal. Betaville reported that the company had rejected an offer of $14.00 per share from Summitview Capital, according to sources. Cypress is said to be looking for $15.00 per share is working with Goldman Sachs on exploring strategic options, the sources said.
  • Cree, Inc. CREE shares climbed 10.8 percent to $27.79. The volume of Cree shares traded was 371 percent higher than normal. Cree and German-based Infineon Technologies revealed Thursday that they struck a definitive agreement enabling the German firm to acquire the Wolfspeed Power and RF division of Cree for $850 million cash.
  • Yum! Brands, Inc. YUM shares rose 3.4 percent to $88.60. The volume of Yum! Brands shares traded was 260 percent higher than normal. Yum! Brands reported better-than-expected Q2 earnings and raised its full-year core operating profit growth guidance.
