The worst performing industries in the market today are:

  • REIT - Hotel/Motel: This industry slipped 2.2 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was FelCor Lodging Trust Incorporated/b> FCH, which fell 5 percent. FelCor Lodging Trust shares have dropped 37.45 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 2.50 percent in the same period.
  • Industrial Metals & Minerals: This industry declined 1.5 percent by 11:00 am with Fairmount Santrol Holdings Inc FMSA moving down 6.2 percent. Fairmount Santrol Holdings shares have surged 23.76 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 2.50 percent in the same period.
  • Home Furnishing Stores: This industry fell 1.3 percent by 11:00 am ET. Restoration Hardware Holdings Inc RH shares dropped 4.5 percent in today's trading.
