FBL Financial Group Appoints Casey Decker As CIO

FBL Financial Group Inc. FFG revealed Thursday that Casey Decker has been appointed as its Chief Information Officer. He would also be CIO for its affiliated insurance companies that go to market as Farm Bureau Financial Services.

According to the company, Decker would be responsible for all aspects of its IT efforts. He would replace Daniel Greteman, who served as CIO since January 2015.

The company's CEO, Jim Brannen, said, "Casey Decker has had a rich, diverse and successful career with our companies. He knows FBL's business priorities and processes, is driven, results-oriented and a proven leader. All of this, with his strong IT background and industry knowledge, gives me confidence that Casey will succeed in his new role as Chief Information Officer."

FBL said Decker joined in 2004 as a programmer analyst and progressed to Business Technology Vice President. The company added Decker served as Agency Support Vice President since 2014 leading the team that provides strategies to support agents in growing successful and sustainable businesses.

The stock traded 2.28 percent up on Thursday.
