Rex Energy Corporation REXX shares rose 5.96 percent to $0.850 in pre-market trading as the company announced plans to sell Illinois Basin assets to Campbell Development for roughly $40 million – with the potential for up to an extra $10 million over the next three years, depending on commodity prices.

Infinity Pharmaceuticals Inc. INFI shares fell 4.41 percent to $1.30 in pre-market trading after tumbling 69.16 percent on Tuesday. Morgan Stanley downgraded Infinity Pharmaceuticals from Overweight to Equal-weight and lowered the price target from $11.00 to $1.00. Jefferies also downgraded the stock from Buy to Hold.

YY Inc (ADR) YY shares fell 2.94 percent to $37.02 in pre-market trading as the company reported a receipt of withdrawal of buyer's go private proposal. The company also reported a buyback of $200 million over the next year.

Whole Foods Market, Inc. WFM shares fell 2.46 percent to $31.72 after dropping 2.90 percent on Tuesday.
