that Apple's

Eddy Cue, Senior VP of Internet Software and Services, met late last year with Time Warner's head of corporate strategy, Olaf Olafsson at the Headquarters of the parent of HBO, according to sources. The talks did not include Apple CEO Tim Cook nor Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes the sources said, and did not advance beyond a preliminary stage. Time Warner Rose 1.52% Thursday to close at $74.07. Apple shares finished above the $100 mark at $100.41. Netfilx shares traded as high as $105 in the premarket and closed at $102.81.

anniunced Thursday, that it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Itseez Inc., a developer of customized computer vision software for cars, security systems, robotics and consumer applications. Terms were not disclosed. Intel closed at $31.49 on Thursday, up $0.10.

has breached the merger agreement by its Board modifying or qualifying its approval and recommendation of the merger. ETE also seeks a judgment that due to Williams' breaches of the merger agreement. ETE says it is entitled to immediately terminate the merger agreement and is entitled to a termination fee of $1.48 billion if the termination is due to a modification or qualification of the Williams board of directors' recommendation of the merger. Energy Transfer Equity closed at $11.01 on Thursday and traded as high as $11.50 after-hours.
