Apple Hospitality REIT Dividend Provides 6.5% Yield

Apple Hospitality REIT, Inc. APLE revealed that its Board declared a regular monthly cash distribution of $0.10 per common share for the month of June 2016.

Apple Hospitality REIT said the distribution would be payable on June 15 to its shareholders. The company also fixed the record date as of June 2 to determine the eligible shareholders.

The company indicated that based on its common stock closing price of $18.60 on May 18, 2016, the annualized distribution of $1.20 per common share represented an annual yield of approximately 6.5 percent.

The stock traded 2.37 percent down on Thursday.
