Harley-Davidson Elects Michael Cave As Non-Executive Chairman Of The Board

Harley-Davidson, Inc. HOG disclosed the election of Michael Cave as its non-executive chairman of the board. According to the company, Cave, a retired SVP at The Boeing Company, has served on its board since 2012.

Harley-Davidson said Cave, currently the chairman of the board's human resources committee, succeeded Richard Beattie, as he retired after more than two decades of service on the board following the Saturday's annual meeting of shareholders.

The company said Cave held a different type of assignments in Boeing's financial, defense and commercial businesses. The company added that among other leadership positions at Boeing, he served as SVP of Business Development and Strategy, SVP/chief financial officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, SVP of Commercial Airplane Programs and VP-finance of Boeing Information Defense Systems.

On Monday, the stock traded 0.26 percent down.
