Centene Investment In Ferguson Area To Bring In 250 Jobs

Centene Corp CNC has invested $25 million in Ferguson area. The company launched its Ferguson Service Center on Friday. According to the company, the facility would bring in more than 250 jobs to the area.

Centene Chairman, President and CEO, Michael Neidorff, said "The business sector must be a role model in creating stronger and healthier communities across the nation. One company at a time, one community at a time." He continued, "As we open our new facility, we celebrate another step toward the revitalization of Ferguson. Centene is proud to be a part of this exciting opportunity and is committed to being a catalyst for that success."

The company stated the facility has 45,000 square feet, and located at 2900 Pershall Road. The facility included a high-tech bistro, fitness center, and on-site early childhood development center, and a community center.

On Friday, the stock traded down by 1.69 percent.
