General Electric Approaches $32

General Electric GE shares are trading higher by $0.18 at $31.98 in Friday's session. It has added nearly $1 this week after ending last week at $31.11.

In Friday's session, it bottomed a nickel off its opening print at $31.45 and began to march higher. It is pausing ahead of the crowd of institutional sellers perched at $32, so far, only reaching $31.98.

The issue has not traded in the $32 handle since May of 2008.
