The worst performing industries in the market today are:

Silver: This industry slipped 0.9 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Endeavour Silver Corp (NYSE: EXK), which fell 1.4 percent. Endeavour Silver shares have surged 61.54 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has dropped 3.11 percent in the same period.

Specialty Eateries: This industry declined 0.9 percent by 11:00 am with Papa Murphy's Holdings Inc (NASDAQ: FRSH) moving down 1.7 percent. Papa Murphy's shares have dipped 20.77 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has dropped 3.11 percent in the same period.

Electronics Stores: This industry fell 0.5 percent by 11:00 am ET. Best Buy Co Inc (NYSE: BBY) shares dropped 0.9 percent in today's trading. Best Buy shares have declined 15.22 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has dropped 3.11 percent in the same period.

Advertising Agencies: The industry dropped 0.3 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Chinanet Online Holdings Inc (NASDAQ: CNET), which declined 3.8 percent.
