announced Monday, that it has acquired Genable Technologies for $6 million in cash and 265,000 shares of Spark common stock. Additional financial terms were not disclosed. Spark Therapeutics closed at $35.69 on Monday, up 3.36%.

Energy Fuels Inc.

announced that it has agreed to acquire Mesteña Uranium, LLC. Energy Fuels will issue 4,551,284 shares of company common stocks to the current owners of Mesteña. The deal is expected to close on or before May 4, 2016. Energy Fuels closed at $2.96 on Monday, up 6.86%.

shares spiked higher Monday, following a

report that the credit-card company could be acquired by Wells Fargo

, according to sources. Wells Fargo denied the report, while a spokesperson for American Express declined comment. American Express closed at $59.00 on Monday up 1.22%.

Eyegate Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

announced Monday, that it has acquired privately-held Jade Therapeutics, Inc. EyeGate will repay Jade liabilities of up to $300,000 and will issue 765,728 shares of EyeGate common stock, plus a cash earn-out provision calling for the additional payment of up to $2,164,451 contingent upon a Jade product receiving FDA marketing approval. EyeGate closed at $3.80 on Monday down $0.03.
