The Dow rose 0.14 percent to 16,477.19, while the NASDAQ composite index declined 0.37 percent to 4,517.26. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index fell 0.13 percent to 1,924.29.

The worst performing industries in the market today are:

Drug Related Products: This industry declined 8.8 percent by 11:00 am with Perrigo Company plc (NYSE: PRGO) moving down 8.8 percent. Perrigo reported weaker-than-expected Q4 earnings.

Photographic Equipment & Supplies: This industry fell 6.1 percent by 11:00 am ET. GoPro Inc (NASDAQ: GPRO) shares dropped 5.5 percent in today's trading. GoPro shares have dropped 71.24 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has declined 8.14 percent in the same period.

Dairy Products: The industry dropped 2.7 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was Dean Foods Co (NYSE: DF), which declined 2.1 percent. Dean Foods' PEG ratio is 2.86.

Sporting Goods Stores: This industry slipped 2.6 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Cabelas Inc (NYSE: CAB), which fell 3.5 percent. Cabela's reported Q4 adjusted earnings of $1.26 per share on revenue of $1.4 billion.
