Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM) shares rose 16.83 percent to $46.23 in pre-market trading after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly results and announced a $1 billion repurchase program.

Peabody Energy Corporation (NYSE: BTU) shares rose 12.43 percent to $3.80 in pre-market trading. The US Supreme Court put a hold on EPA carbon emissions rule on Tuesday.

FireEye Inc (NASDAQ: FEYE) shares rose 4.41 percent to $12.55 in pre-market trading. BTIG Research upgraded FireEye from Neutral to Buy.

Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ: CETV) shares rose 3.56 percent to $2.33 in the pre-market trading session after dropping 6.25 percent on Tuesday.

Paypal Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: PYPL) shares rose 2.23 percent to $33.43 in pre-market trading after declining 2.71 percent on Tuesday.

Losers

SolarCity Corp (NASDAQ: SCTY) shares fell 33.17 percent to $17.61 in pre-market trading. SolarCity reported better-than-expected results for its fourth quarter, but the company issued a weak forecast for the first quarter.

Time Warner Inc (NYSE: TWX) fell 5.08 percent to $60.00 in pre-market trading. Time Warner reported better-than-expected earnings for its fourth quarter, but the company missed analysts’ revenue expectations. The company also issued a strong forecast for fiscal 2016.

Solaredge Technologies Inc (NASDAQ: SEDG) shares fell 3.69 percent to $24.80 in pre-market trading after declining 5.05 percent on Tuesday.

Walt Disney Co (NYSE: DIS) shares dropped 3.22 percent to $89.35 in pre-market trading. Disney reported upbeat results for its first quarter on Tuesday. However, shares fell amid disappointing data related to ESPN and Disney's TV network business.

ARM Holdings plc (ADR) (NASDAQ: ARMH) shares fell 2.85 percent to $40.21 in pre-market trading after rising 2.45 percent on Tuesday.
