Oprah Winfrey's new emotional tweet sent Weight Watchers International, Inc. WTW stock up 14 percent on Wednesday'. Oprah tweeted a 60-second video commercial that delivered a powerful message of hope for Weight Watchers.
The stock recently traded at $22.17, up 14.4 percent.
The television mogul was seen speaking directly to the camera about how now should be the time to eat healthy and exercise. She spoke of her weight loss challenges, stating that "Inside every overweight woman is a woman she knows she can be."

Weight Watchers has reaped incredible rewards in the market over the past three months, gaining more than 200 percent after Oprah made the decision to purchase a 10 percent stake in the company.
The investment totaled around $43.2 million at that time. The mogul also made a statement in October in regard to her decision.
"Weight Watchers has given me the tools to begin to make the lasting shift that I and so many of us who are struggling with weight have longed for... I have an incredibly bullish opinion of what we can expect to see from WTW," said Oprah.
