Shares of Cal-Maine Foods Inc CALM were trading up almost 4.4 percent in Tuesday’s after-hours session, recuperating much of the ground lost over the first two days of the week. The decline followed the announcement that the company had named a new Vice President of Operations, Michael Ermon.
Another big gainer on Tuesday afternoon was Eldorado Gold Corp (USA) EGO, which rose 1.64 percent during the day and an extra 4.26 percent after the bell rang, in a day where gold prices continued to slip.
Dicerna Pharmaceuticals Inc DRNA, which had tumbled 2.99 percent over the regular trading session, continued to decline (more than 8 percent) after the market closed. The slip seems to have been triggered by news about Chief Financial Officer James Dentzer having left the company, and the subsequent appointment of John “Jack” Green as its interim CFO, effective January 1, 2016.
Also declining in the after-hours session was Rice Energy Inc RICE, which lost more than 5.5 percent, losing much of the ground gained during the day.
Other stocks moving after hours were:
- TransAlta Corporation (USA) TAC, up more than 4 percent
- Silver Standard Resources Inc. (USA) SSRI, up 3.7 percent
- BlackBerry Ltd BBRY, down more than 3 percent
- EP Energy Corp EPE, up almost 4 percent
