Yahoo And NBC Renew Sports Alliance
As part of the agreement, the two companies collaborated together to deliver content on Yahoo Sports. Specifically, NBC provided video assets and "promotional power" to Yahoo's fantasy sports products. The two companies also announced a continuation of premium sports news and events coverage both online and on-air on NBC's networks.
"We're thrilled to not only continue our relationship with NBC Sports but also to expand the partnership as we work to bring more premium digital sports content to our users," said Ian Weingarten, SVP of Corporate Development and Partnerships at Yahoo.
Shares of Yahoo ticked down about 0.4 percent, while shares of Comcast were down about 0.8 percent.
