At 10:30 am, the Dow fell 0.18 percent to 17,233.75, the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index moved down 0.23 percent to 2,007.68 and the NASDAQ composite index dipped 0.31 percent to 4,918.07.

The industries that are still afloat in the market today are:

Toys & Games: This industry jumped 2.2 percent by 10:30 am. The top performer in this industry was Mattel, Inc.(NASDAQ: MAT), which rose 2.8 percent. BMO Capital upgraded Mattel from Market Perform to Outperform and raised the price target from $25.00 to $33.00.

Catalog & Mail Order Houses: This industry rose 1.3 percent by 10:30 am ET. The top performer in this industry was Lightinthebox Holding Co Ltd-ADR (NYSE: LITB), which gained 1.7 percent. LightInTheBox is expected to report Q3 financial results on December 21, 2015.

Foreign Regional Banks: The industry gained 1.1 percent by 10:30 am. The top performer in this industry was Woori Bank American Depositary Shares (NYSE: WF), which gained 2.4 percent. Woori Bank's PEG ratio is 0.92.

Telecom Services - Foreign: This industry moved up 0.7 percent by 10:30 am. The top performer in this industry was Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp (ADR) (NYSE: NTT), which rose 2.4 percent. Nippon Telegraph & Telephone shares have surged 41.85 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 1.14 percent in the same period.
