Shares of Avid Technology, Inc. AVID were trading up more than 5.3 percent on Friday’s after-hours session, recuperating from the 5.11 percent tumble they experienced over the day. No particular news seemed to be driving the decline, which started on December 1. Since that moment, the stock lost almost 12 percent.

Similar was the case of Targa Resources Corp TRGP, which rose more than 19 percent since the bell rang, after plummeting 16.07 percent during the regular trading session. The decline had been triggered by news about the OPEC having decided to maintain its current output level, and the resulting tumble in oil prices. Another stock falling on the news was Whiting Petroleum Corp WLL, which lost 8.25 percent during the day, but, unlike Targa, only recuperated 0.2 percent in after-hours trading.

On the other hand, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. CMG was falling the market closed, down roughly 6 percent on news of the E. coli outbreak expanding (to three more states) and the management’s warning about tanking sales. Apparently, management expects sales to fall by 8 to 11 percent in the fourth quarter of the year.

Other stocks moving on Friday’s after-hours trading session included:

  • Tronox Ltd TROX, up almost 8 percent
  • Ocular Therapeutix Inc OCUL, up 5.2 percent
  • Energy Transfer Equity LP ETE, up 4.3 percent
  • On Deck Capital Inc ONDK, up 4 percent
  • BankUnited BKU, down 3 percent
  • Intersect ENT Inc XENT, down about 3.2 percent
