Interoil Seen as Likely Takeover Target for it's LNG Projects in PNG -Reuters
InterOil Corp (NYSE: IOC) is seen as a potential takeover target for companies wanting an inexpensive way to access LNG projects in Papua New Guinea, according to Viral Gathani of CIMB as reported by Reuters on Wednesday. The Papua New Guinea LNG project, is viewed as one of the lowest cost LNG projects.
InterOil declined to comment.
Interoil closed at $41.46 on Tuesday, up 5.5%.
