US stock futures traded higher in early pre-market trade. Data on wholesale inventories for May will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 192 points to 17,644.0, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures rose 26.20 points to 2,067.45. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 57.40 points to 4,396.90.

European markets were higher today, with the Spanish Ibex Index surging 3.15 percent, STOXX Europe 600 Index rising 1.82 percent and German DAX 30 index gaining 2.26 percent. French CAC 40 Index climbed 3.07 percent and London's FTSE 100 Index rose 1.29 percent. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average fell 0.38 percent, Homg Kong's Hang Seng Index climbed 2.08 percent, China's Shanghai Composite Index jumped 4.54 percent and India's BSE Sensex climbed 0.32 percent.
