US Stock Futures Edge Lower Ahead Of International Trade Data

US stock futures traded slightly lower in early pre-market trade. Data on international trade for May will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while consumer credit report for May will be released at 3:00 p.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled 6 points to 17,672.0, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures fell 0.10 points to 2,071.15. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index declined 1.30 points to 4,432.20.
A Peek Into Global Markets
European markets were lower today, with the Spanish Ibex Index falling 0.27 percent, STOXX Europe 600 Index declining 0.13 percent and German DAX 30 index dropping 0.50 percent. French CAC 40 Index slipped 0.60 percent and London's FTSE 100 Index fell 0.12 percent. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rose 1.31 percent, Homg Kong's Hang Seng Index dropped 1.03 percent, China's Shanghai Composite Index slipped 1.29 percent and India's BSE Sensex rose 0.41 percent.
