US Stock Futures Gain; All Eyes On Jobs Report

US stock futures traded higher in early pre-market trade. Data on nonfarm payroll employment for April will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while wholesale inventories data for March will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 38.50 points to 17,927.50, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures rose 3.90 points to 2,088.15. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 12.30 points to 4,414.80.

European markets were higher today, with the Spanish Ibex Index rising 0.70 percent, STOXX Europe 600 Index surging 1.81 percent and German DAX 30 index rising 0.68 percent. French CAC 40 Index climbed 0.87 percent and London's FTSE 100 Index rose 1.86 percent. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rose 0.45 percent, China's Shanghai Composite Index jumped 2.28 percent, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index gained 1.05 percent and India's BSE Sensex jumped 1.90 percent.

Analysts at Goldman Sachs downgraded

from Conviction Buy to Neutral and announced a $150.00 price target. Monster Beverage shares fell 6.27 percent to $134.50 in pre-market trading.
