Hillary Clinton is wrapping up her California fundraising tour in Silicon Valley where she hopes to gain support from some of the most influential voices in today's market.

Not only do the tech giants residing there represent a path toward the future, but their pockets are likely to be some of the deepest.

On Friday, Clinton is scheduled to attend a fundraiser at eBay Inc. EBAY CEO John Donahoe's home, where several of the tech scene's heavyweights are expected to be in attendance.

Immigration A Hot Button

Although Clinton's calls to give undocumented workers a pathway toward citizenship have been polarizing for the American public, the initiative is expected to resonate in Silicon Valley were companies say there is a lack of highly skilled workers.

Many of the region's executives say US workers don't possess the same skills as engineers and scientists from other nations, so they are likely to get behind her immigration platform.

Net Neutrality Still A Sore Spot

This year's ruling to regulate the internet as a utility has faced fierce opposition from broadband providers, but tech companies have been largely supportive of the initiative.

Clinton has said that she too believes in regulating the internet to protect the interests of consumers and startups, though she believes that more legislation is needed in order to better govern the growing world of digital commerce.

Women In Tech

One of Clinton's loudest campaign messages has been advocacy for women, something she has said is especially important in the tech space. With the majority of Silicon Valley's firms made up mostly male employees, Clinton is likely to press her initiative to boost the number of women studying computer science and make the industry more comfortable for females.
