on Thursday. The sources say that initial bids for Omnicare are due in May and that Omnicare has hired Bank of America Corp. and Centerview Partners to explore options including a possible sale. Omnicare shares rose $1.56 Thursday, closing at $87.98.

announced Thursday, it has agreed to acquire Audience, Inc.

for approximately $5.00 per share, comprised of $2.50 in cash and $2.50 in Knowles common stock. Audience stockholders will receive 0.107 of a share of Knowles common stock for each share of Audience common stock if the average Knowles trading price during a specified period preceding closing is equal to or greater than $23.35 or 0.138 of a share of Knowles common stock for each share of Audience common stock if the average Knowles share trading price is less than or equal to $18.16. The deal is expected to close in Q3 of 2015. Audience shares fell 13% Thursday, closing at $4.76.
Hua Capital to Acquire OmniVision for $29.75/Share in CashThe Deal

announced Thursday, that it has agreed to be acquired by a group consisting of Hua Capital Management Co., Ltd., CITIC Capital Holdings Limited and GoldStone Investment Co., Ltd. OmniVision stockholders will receive $29.75 per share in cash, for a total of approximately $1.9 billion. The deal is expected to close in Q3 or Q4 of FY 2016. Omnivision Technologies closed at $27.90 Thursday, gaining more than 5%.
Report Intel's Standstill Agreement with Altera Expires in JuneThe Rumor

spiked higher just before the close Thursday, on a report from
Reuters
that Intel Corporation
INTC
had discussed offering $58 per share back in February and had signed a standstill agreement that expires on June 1, 2015, according to sources. Intel later ended up offering $54, which was rejected by Altera. Both Intel and Altera declined comment on Thursday's report Altera closed at $41.68 Thursday and rose 5% after-hours.
