Thursday's After-Hours Movers: Amazon, Google, Starbucks And More

Align Technology, Inc. ALGN rose more than 7 percent in after-hours trading Thursday to $60.30 after the dentistry products company said first quarter revenue gained 10 percent.

Juniper Networks, Inc. JNPR gained 6 percent to $25.50 on news that the routing, switching and security company's second quarter results beat expectations.

KLA-Tencor Corp KLAC rose 5 percent to $62.95 after the electronics manufacturing equipment company posted an 11 percent decline in revenue and said it will cull its staff by 10 percent.

Starbucks Corporation SBUX increased about 6 percent to $52.41 on better-than-expected results for its fiscal second quarter.

Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN jumped 6.8 percent to $416.96 after the company said first quarter sales grew 15 percent.

Google Inc GOOGL ticked up more than 3 percent after the bell to $578 on its earnings report.

Microsoft Corporation MSFT increased more than 3 percent to $44.67 after the company beat expectations for the fiscal third quarter.

Aerie Pharmaceuticals Inc AERI shares lost about 72 percent of value, trading at $9.96. After the bell the company said its glaucoma treatment failed to meet the primary end point of a Phase III trial.

Pandora Media Inc P dropped 4 percent to $17.10 on disappointing quarterly results.

Altera Corporation ALTR lost 5 percent to $40.10 on a disappointing outlook and 6 percent decline in first quarter sales.
