extended its gains in late trading Tuesday, changing hands at $9.18, up nearly 6 percent. The multi-level marketer is considering strategic alternatives including the sale of its North American business, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.

jumped more than 10 percent in the after-hours session, changing hands at $2.19. The wireless infrastructure company said it expects to post first-quarter earnings of $0.03 a share, above its previous midpoint guidance of $0.01 a share.

rose more than 3 percent to $16.70. The company said earlier this month that Standard General Communications LLC will sell 6.8 million Media General shares at $16 a piece in an offering expected to close April 17.

rose 3 percent to $34.20 after the bell when the railroad company posted quarterly earnings.

gained nearly 3 percent to $433 after the company issued results of a Phase II study of its optic neuritis treatment that showed statistically significant improvement for patients.

rose more than 3 percent to $32.50 after the bell on news that its first-quarter results were in line with expectations. The company's outlook was mixed.
