What differentiates Tesla's charging stations from its competitors' charging pods is the speed at which the charge is executed. For comparison, a 40A high Voltage Outlet can provide only 14 miles of range after a half hour charge, while Tesla's supercharging stations have the ability to provide up to 170 miles of range in 30 minutes of charge time.
