9 Trending Stocks From Friday: Second Sight Medical's Huge Gain Leads Pack

Among the trending stocks moving the markets on Friday, nine stood out:

Mohawk Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MHK) slipped 0.97 percent to close the day at $184.35. In a report published Monday, Credit Suisse had reduced its core estimates for the company "as incremental FX headwinds offset margin gains from productivity initiatives and modest accretion from the European ceramic acq."

Second Sight Medical Products, Inc. (NASDAQ: EYES) surged 37.03 percent to $16.17, after the company announced the first commercial implants of the Argus II retinal prosthesis system in France. Stocks of the company's peers also received a fillip from the performance of Second Sight Medical Products.

Shares of O'Reilly Automotive, Inc. (NASDAQ: ORLY) dipped 0.58 percent to $208.13, despite the company having reported better-than-expected earnings for 4Q and having issued a strong earnings guidance earlier in the month.

Weight Watchers International Inc (NYSE: WTW) plummeted 35.48 percent to $11.33, after the company announced a disappointing earnings guidance for 2015. Pressure on Weight Watchers International's top line continues and the company announced a $100M cost-cutting initiative.

Shares of A.M. Castle & Co. (NYSE: CAS) plunged 35.98 percent to $3.22, reaching a new 52-week low. The company had reported a loss of $1.64 per share for Q4, on revenue of $231.5 million.

Planar Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: PLNR) slipped 1.76 percent to $6.15. The global leader in display and digital signage technology is scheduled to present at the 27th Annual ROTH Conference being held on March 8-11, 2015 in California.

Doral Financial Corporation (NYSE: DRL) crashed 46.27 percent to $0.72. Three companies are rumored to be ready with bids for the performing assets of Doral Financial.

Shares of Popular, Inc. (NASDAQ: BPOP) climbed 5.41 percent to $34.51. The company is among the three banks rumored to be ready with bids for the performing assets of Doral Financial Corp.

BlackBerry (NASDAQ: BBRY) inched up 0.46 percent to end the day at $10.81, after having been on an upward trend the whole week.
