RB Trader Sees Unusual Options Activity In Kinder Morgan

The January 40 and 45 calls in Kinder Morgan Inc KMI are getting some big play Tuesday, on the heels of Monday's big volume of 32,000 contracts in the January 40 calls, according to RB Trader.

21,000 of the January 40 calls have traded on the bid side, alongside 35,000 of the January 45 calls, as the trader could be rolling his position up to a higher strike by selling the January 40 calls and buying the January 45 calls.

Shares of Kinder Morgan, which have been the reorganized recently, are not too far off the recent highs of $42.49. It recently traded Tuesday afternoon at $41.75, up 1.9 percent.
