Airline and Russian ETFs Move Lower Following Malaysia Airlines Crash

News that a Malaysian commercial aircraft with nearly 300 people on board had crashed -- and was possiblly shot down -- near the Ukrainian-Russian border on Thursday has prompted both air carriers and Russian shares to move lower.

Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE: DAL) down 3.43 percent

American Airlines Group Inc (NASDAQ: AAL) down 4.09 percent

United Continental Holdings Inc (NYSE: UAL) down 3.43 percent

RUB/USD down by 1.56 percent

Direxion Daily Russia Bear 3X Shares (NYSE: RUSS) - increases by 21.70 percent

Direxion Daily Russia Bull 3X Shares (NYSE: RUSL) down by 20.19 percent

Market Vector Russia ETF Trust (NYSE: RSX) decreasing by 7.21 percent

Market Vectors Russia Small-Cap ETF (NYSE: RSXJ)- down by 5.53 percent
