Stocks Hitting 52-Week Lows


Molycorp (NYSE: MCP) shares tumbled 7.78% to reach a new 52-week low of $2.37. The decline in the stock may be attributed to Seeking Alpha post: 'Molycorp Is Worth $1.60 Per Share.'

Portugal Telecom SGPS SA (NYSE: PT) shares fell 2.03% to touch a new 52-week low of $3.38. Portugal Telecom shares have dropped 5.99% over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 22.16% in the same period.

Corinthian Colleges (NASDAQ: COCO) shares reached a new 52-week low of $0.26. Department of Education reported that it did not reach an agreement with Corinthian Colleges.

Nicholas Financial (NASDAQ: NICK) shares tumbled 2.50% to touch a new 52-week low of $14.05 after the company announced the discontinuance of exploration of options. The company also announced the resignation of Chairman Peter Vosotas.
