, a technology company that counts among its inventions a patented process that converts liquid waste into a hydrogen-based fuel, announced today that it filed a provisional patent protecting new methods of applying MagneGas® to contaminated soil through a primary heating process and secondary burning method. The Company believes that using MagneGas® will increase efficiency through the primary heat output of the process and will reduce emissions through the secondary co-combustion of exhaust. "The Company has embarked on an aggressive campaign to protect its Intellectual Property. This includes the filing of new patents, a comprehensive review of existing patents and the formation of Joint Ventures to protect ancillary uses of MagneGas® where applicable," stated Ermanno Santilli, CEO of MagneGas. "This new provisional patent is just one in a series of patents on the use of MagneGas® fuel for various advanced applications," concluded Santilli.
