Mellanox Reports Collaboration with Dell to Optimize Computational Performance for Apps

The Mellanox high speed adapters help enable Dell Fluid Cache to accelerate applications such as online transactional processing (OLTP) and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) in a scalable, low-latency environment. Mellanox Technologies provides the connection to the low–latency, private cache network on 10/40GbE ConnectX-3 Network Interface Cards (NICs). This enables customers to increase mobility and scalability at the highest throughput while lowering CPU overhead and application costs.
