MACOM to Acquire Mindspeed for $5.05 per ShareThe Deal

for $5.05 per share in a cash tender offer. MACOM will assume certain equity awards held by Mindspeed employees. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2013. Mindspeed Technologies closed Tuesday at $2.97, but traded near $5.00 after-hours.
