Tibco Software Names Lori Wright as Chief Marketing Officer
TIBCO Software (NASDAQ: TIBX) today announced that Lori Wright has been appointed to the position of chief marketing officer. Ms. Wright brings a strong mix of global marketing, strategy, online sales and operational experience to the marketing organization at TIBCO. The position of CMO will report to Murray Rode, TIBCO's chief operating officer.
Ms. Wright joins TIBCO from Symantec, where she was the vice president leading the worldwide online sales group for the eCommerce channel, with responsibility for $1.8 billion in annual sales. Prior to this role, Ms. Wright held executive positions within Symantec's SMB, Cloud, Healthcare and Enterprise Messaging Management divisions. Ms. Wright's broad marketing and leadership experience will provide a strong complement to the TIBCO marketing organization.

Before joining Symantec, Ms. Wright worked in mergers & acquisitions and global marketing at VERITAS Software. Ms. Wright also held previous roles at The Walt Disney World Company, PaySys International and Lockheed Martin. She earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida.
