45% stake in Verizon Wireless was finally confirmed on Monday. Verizon will pay $130 billion in cash and stock. The deal is expected to close in Q1 2014. Verizon closed at $47.38 Friday, a loss of 1% ahead of the announcement, while Vodafone close at $32.35, a gain of 1.73%.
Sinopec Acquires 33% Interest in Apache Egypt for $3.1BThe Deal

and Sinopec announced late Thursday that Apache will receive $3.1 billion in cash, in exchange for Sinopec receiving a 33 percent minority participation in Apache's Egypt oil and gas business. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2013. Apache closed at $85.68 Friday, a gain of 9%.
Cumulus to Acquire Dial Global for $260MThe Deal

announced Friday the acquisition of Dial Global for $260 million in cash including $45 million attributable to equity and the retirement of $215 million of debt. Cumulus is also selling 53 radio stations to Townsquare Media for $238 million in cash. The transactions are expected to close in Q4 2013. Cumulus Media closed at $4.80 Friday, a gain of 2%.
