The following are the M&A deals, rumors and chatter circulating on Wall Street for Tuesday August 6, 2013:

Report Amgen Raises Bid for Onyx Pharmaceuticals to $130/Share

The Rumor:
Bloomberg reported late Tuesday that Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN) has raised its bid for Onyx Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ONXX) to $130 per share. A June 30 bid of $120 per share from Amgen was rejected by Onyx. To date, that is the only official offer for Onyx.

Spokespersons for Amgen and Onyx declined comment on the rumor.

Onyx Pharmaceuticals closed at $132.02 Tuesday, a loss of 1% on lower than average volume.

DISH CEO Says T-Mobile is Only Possible Acquisition

The CEO Comments:
DISH (NASDAQ: DISH) CEO Charlie Ergen said Tuesday during the company's Q2 earnings call that the only possible acquisition his company could make was T-Mobile (NYSE: TMUS), following all of the consolidation in the industry. T-Mobile shares surged higher on the comments.

AT&T (NYSE: T) announced on July 12 it was purchasing Leap Wirless (NASDAQ: LEAP), while Clearwire (NASDAQ: CLWR) shareholders approved the acquisition of the company by Sprint (NYSE: S) on July 8. Softbank (OTC: SFTBY) completed its merger with Sprint on July 10.

A spokesperson for T-Mobile US declined comment on the Ergen statement.

T-Mobile US closed at $24.06 Tuesday, a loss of 2.5% on higher than average volume.

3D Systems Acquires TeamPlatform

The Deal:
3D Systems (NASDAQ: DDD) announced Tuesday that it has acquired TeamPlatform, a cloud-based, collaborative design and project management platform. 3D Systems plans to integrate the TeamPlatform technology into its professional and consumer products.

3D Systems closed at $46.30 Tuesday, a loss of 2% on lower than average volume.
