US Stock Futures Up; All Eyes On Apple

US stock futures are higher this morning, as investors are awaiting earnings from Apple

. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 26 points to 15,517.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 3.50 points to 1,693.80. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 7 points to 3,054.50. US stocks closed mostly higher on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.01% to 15,545.55, the S&P 500 index gaining 0.20% to 1,695.53 and the Nasdaq 100 index surging 0.36% to 3,600.39. The ICSC-Goldman Sachs store sales index will be released at 7:45 a.m. ET, while the Johnson Redbook Retail Sales Index will be released at 8:55 a.m. ET. The FHFA house price index for May will be released at 9:00 a.m. ET, while the Richmond Fed manufacturing index for July will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Netflix

reported upbeat second-quarter profit. However, the company added 630,000 new US subscribers for its streaming service, falling short of estimates. Texas Instruments

reported a 48% rise in its second-quarter profit. Altria Group
