CARBO Announces 2013 Dividend Increase to $0.30 per Share

The Board of Directors of CARBO Ceramics

today approved an increase in the Company's quarterly dividend to 30 cents per common share, or $1.20 per common share on an annualized basis. This represents an increase of 11 percent over the Company's previous quarterly dividend and marks the thirteenth consecutive year the Company has increased its dividend to shareholders. The dividend is payable on August 15, 2013 to shareholders of record as of August 1, 2013.
