Afternoon Market Losers

National Bank of Greece NBG plunged 21.12% to $3.22 after a morning of high volume trade. The bank reported that it had raised enough money to avoid state control recently.

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals PPHM tumbled 20.19% to $1.24 after the company released disappointing Bavituximab trial data.

Applied Micro Circuits AMCC dropped 9.12% to $8.67.

Paychex PAYX fell 5.79% to $35.76 after the company shared the potential impact to employee benefits and the associated costs for business owners after the U.S. Supreme Court released its opinion yesterday in United States v. Windsor, finding section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage as the legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife, unconstitutional.

Diana Containerships DCIX traded down 9.25% to touch a new 52-week low of 4.12 after analysts at Wells Fargo downgraded the stock from Outperform to Market Perform.
