MAXIMUS Signs Contract to Operate Maryland's Health Benefit Exchange Services and Command Center Operations

, a leading provider of government services worldwide, announced that it has signed a new contract with the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange (MHBE) to operate the Consolidated Service Center, which includes call center, fulfillment and command center services. The five-year base contract is valued at approximately $36 million, started on June 3, 2013, and runs through December 31, 2017. Under the contract, MAXIMUS will operate the Consolidated Service Center for the MHBE for both the individual and SHOP marketplace for the Maryland Health Connection.
