US Stock Futures Mixed; All Eyes On Nonfarm Payrolls Data

US stock futures are mixed this morning, as investors are awaiting nonfarm payrolls. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 2 points to 14,758.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 0.80 points to 1,591.50. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 1.50 points to 2,903.50. US stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.89% to 14,831.58, the S&P 500 index gaining 0.94% to 1,597.59 and the Nasdaq 100 index surging 1.26% to 3,340.62. Data on nonfarm payrolls for April will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. Data on Factory orders for March and the ISM non-manufacturing index for April will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. LinkedIn
