The 25 Tallest Skyscrapers Currently Under Construction

With the announcement of the _____ skyscraper in China, we at Benzinga took a look at the tallest skyscrapers currently under construction around the world. As it turns out, China takes the cake as far as the constrution of Supertall (< 1000ft) skyscrapers goes, making up 11 of the 25 entrants on the list. And although none of these will surpass the 2722 foot high Burj Khalifa (formerly known as the Burj Dubai), this group of 25 bemehoths are more than impressive in their own right.
The methodology for inclusion on the list was simple. The height is based on architectural height and includes spires; construction must have already begun on the structure; and there must be at least some information in the last six months about the progress of the skyscraper.
