Ecopetrol S.A. Announces Changes in two Board of Directors' Committees

Ecopetrol S.A.

announces that, pursuant to its bylaws, Jorge Gabino Pinzon Sanchez, an independent member of the Board of Directors since December 6th, 2012, will join the Audit Committee and the Corporate Governance Committee of the Board. Mr. Pinzon will become a member of both committees on January 30th, 2013.
